The 5 books of the Law are; Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy.
Division # 2:
The 12 books of History of the people of God; Primarily the nation of ISRAEL.
Joshua, Judges and Ruth; under THEOCRACY, @ 1451 to 1050 BC = 401years.
Division # 3 The 6 Poetical books; Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Lamentations and Song of Solomon. Covering a long undetermined period of time.
Division # 3:
The 16 books of Prophecy; Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Daniel, Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Zrphaniah, Haggai, Zechariah and Malichi. 39 books total.

Division # 1:
The 4 Books of the Gospel of Jesus Christ:
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
The 1 book of the History of the Early Church; From @ 33 to 62 AD. @ 30 years.
Division # 2
The 13 Pauline Epistles; Romans, 1st. Corinthians, 2nd. Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1st. Thessalonians, 2nd. Thessalonians, 1st. Timothy, 2nd Timothy, Titus and Philemon. Covering @ 33 years ending in @ 66 AD.
Division # 3
The 7 General Epistles of James, 1st. Peter, 2nd. Peter, 1st. John, 2nd. John, 3rd. John, Jude
and the 1 anonymous book of Hebrews. All but the books of John were written within the same time period of the Pauline Epistles ending @ 66 AD.
The Epistles of John and his book of Revelations were written somewhat later believed to be @ 90 AD; and written while John was a prisoner on the Island of Patmos.
